These videos are based on Robbins & Kumar Basic Pathology, 11th edition. As one of the co-editors of this book, I believe it is an indispensable resource for the future physician. In recent decades, medical school curricula have shifted to a more integrated format and the depth and breadth of pathology often seem to be compressed into buzzwords and word associations, denying students the opportunity to deeply understand this critical material.
I believe that deeper understanding = better medicine and I challenge all of you to learn these fundamental concepts and apply them to your patients in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. These videos are designed to cover topics that medical students often find challenging and to illuminate important material in the text.
